'THERE IS an ancient and ever-present natural relationship, a circle of life, in which all things are related, and connected.
This web of energy is affected by our every action,
thought, emotion and intention,
the words we speak and the pictures we make.
It is a vast and mysterious weaving, a Web of Life.
This sacred awareness - the presence of the Unseen in the
breath of the wind, and the radiant energy of flowers in sunlight -
has always always informed and inspired my painting and poetry.
My work speaks of the Great Lodge - the many dimensions of reality
of this amazing Earth Mother we call home.'
FAITH NOLTON is a painter, poet, illustrator. writer and soul gardener.
Born in London in 1947, Faith trained originally in Fine Art, and has made a lifelong study of the art of traditional peoples and of Western mystical art. She has focused especially on the links between image, creative ritual processes, and energy, and how story and myth profoundly shape our lives.
For Faith, all things in creation are connected, and with this base of reality she uses imagery to create paintings like windows between the seen and unseen worlds.
Because of this her work is especially sought by therapists and healers as it brings the energies of harmony and peace into their work spaces.
Sometimes paintings are made for specific healing or blessing.
She has recounted her journey and creative/spiritual practices in her latest book 'Gardens of the Soul: Making Sacred and Shamanic Art'. [more]
Faith now concentrates on her own painting and soul explorations in her studio and sacred garden in West Wales. She also mentors those of all abilities who are exploring ways to depict inner vision, whether through meditation, dreams or spiritual practices.
